Communards is the debut album by The Communards, released in 1986 on London Records. The album was produced by Mike Thorne, who had previously produced lead singer Jimmy Somerville's earlier band, Bronski Beat. Although the singles released ahead of the album were only moderately successful, the first single to be lifted from it after release, "Don't Leave Me This Way", was number one in the UK for four weeks and was the top-selling single in the UK that year

Track 1-13 ‘Judgement Day’: Originally released in 1987 on You Are My World 87" 7 single (cat LON 123) and 12 single (cat LONX 123), as well as on You Are My World (New York 87 Remix) 12 single (cat LONXR 123). Track 1-14 ‘Don't Leave Me This Way (Gotham City Mix Part One)’: Incorrectly titled "Don't Leave Me This Way (Son Of Gotham City Mix 1986) (Part 1). Title is corrected in the track listing above.
