The release of Al & Sandy, however, should bring both sides of that divide together, as the entire original (1959-1960) album is returned to the shelves, alongside the following year's (Meek-less) Al's Pals and, though one would be hard-pressed to detect Meek's vision lurking within, this is still an album that few of the Welsh wizard's many. collectors will want to miss.

Terry had played with Michael Garrick and the Lennie Felix Trio before he joined the Al Fairweather – Sandy Brown band in late 1962. He was with them until 1964.

Alastair (Al) Fairweather (12 June 1927 – 21 June 1993) was a British jazz trumpeter, born in Edinburgh, Scotland.
