Martin Barre's skill with the guitar has never been in question, the backbone of Jethro Tull for 43 years illustrates that perfectly. His solo work has always been a bit different, as he explores the musical styles he enjoys. With Roads less travelled, it's his first album in recent years that hasn't contained something from the Tull back catalogue and in my opinion, it's better for it. He really is finding his feet as a songwriter, with this album and every track is well put together.

Martin Barre – Immense. It’s hard to answer in one question. I’ve been doing this since I was 14. I’ll be 71 in Novembe. hat’s a lot of years, almost a lifetime in music. I’m grateful, I love it, I’ve had a great career. In fact, I’m having a great career. We went into the studio and recorded it live, and then the first studio album for my band is Back to Steel, and now we’re working on the next one. We’re going to finish off when we get back to the UK. It’s now my career, and Jethro Tull is finished and will never happen again.
Needed a band member to play the flute. Birchmere - Alexandria. True rock concert with great music, great drums, amazing guitars, strong vocals Could reduce the time of the concert, but glad to see some of the great members of Jethro Tull play.
