Great album of music produced by Mark Snow for the TV show "The X-Files". I'm pretty sure this music covers seasons 1-3, and nothing afterward. There's heavy usage of samples containing dialogue (Duane Barry from season two screaming horribly, for one), and the flow between tracks is excellent. Reply Notify me 1 Helpful.

Hanging Out. In Love. Truth & Light: Music from the X-Files consists entirely of Mark Snow's original music for the sci-fi series, which is segued together by samples of dialogue from the show. Like the series, the music is evocative and eerie, and it holds up surprisingly well when isolated from the visuals.

The Truth and the Light: Music from the X-Files is a 1996 album by Mark Snow. The album is composed of excerpts of instrumental music scores from the first three seasons of the American science fiction television series The X-Files, on which Snow was the resident composer.
